Princeton coach Guy Gadowsky had every right to be angry, seeing his forward Matt Arhontas knocked down by Union defenseman Mike Harr near the boards at the end of the period. Harr was upset that Arhontas fired a shot on goalie Corey Milan just a split-second after the buzzer sounded ...

It was a good first period for Union, until a Mike Wakita interference penalty put Princeton on the power play. And it wasn't the Tigers' top forwards, Lee Jubinville, Cam MacIntyre and Brett Wilson, doing the damage. It was the fourth line of Dan Bartlett, Tyler Beachell and Sam Sabky ...

So much for carrying the momentum at the end of the first period over into the second for Union. The Dutchmen were lethargic in the second against Quinnipiac. They were outshot, 19-9, gave up two power-play goals and were outplayed. They are down, 4-2, but it should be much worse. ...

You would think, after falling behind, 4-0, to Quinnipiac in the first period a month ago in the Mutual of Omaha Stampede that Union would have more jump in the rematch Friday at Messa Rink. But just over seven minutes into the game, the Dutchmen trailed, 2-0, and looked lackluster. ...
