So grant18 requested a post about my classes and professors. This semester, I’m taking Calculus, French, Introduction to Western Civilization and a freshmen writing class on Religion, Music and Sexuality.

We have something new in Schenectady, as I’m sure many of you know, with the opening of a year-round farmers' market.

I went back to my room yesterday and found a surprise outside my door. Two brand new cds, compiled by one of my friends.

Should we decry movies like “The Best Little Girl in the World” and models that are too skinny to be healthy? Or should we chock it up to free speech?

One of the sophomores who lives down the hall from me loves scar stories. She has an odd fascination with how people get their scars, and luckily for her I have about a million of them.

I just read an article saying that today will be like Dec. 26, which is my birthday. So while I thoroughly enjoy Dec. 26, I understand that for millions of other people it’s a total letdown.

Today is Election Day! I could leave you about a million links to different videos chocked full with celebrities telling you to vote, but that’s not me. I could also talk about the businesses that are giving out free stuff to voters, but that’s not why you should vote either.

The battle of the century is on. It’s the new Jets and Sharks. And it’s taking place in our own county. That’s right: Dunkin’ Donuts is finally taking on Starbucks.

I don’t know who I want to win the World Series.

I just watched a quick clip of Harrison Ford talking about who his heroes were growing up. Watching him made me try to recall my heroes through the ages.
