Selmser elected Caroga town supervisor

— Republican James K. Selmser, a retired accountant, defeated Democratic challenger Ronald McLain 377 to 157, in the race to become town supervisor.

Selmser, who won a three-way Republican primary, replaces one of his primary opponents, incumbent Robert Kane.
